Grant Park came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Milford Bearcats. The Dragons were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Bearcats, so the Dragons were just returning the favor.

Taylor Panozzo paced Grant Park's offense, picking up seven kills. Panozzo got some help from Abby Garcia and her eight assists. Panozzo also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Mackenna Wells, each putting up three.

The win got Grant Park back to even at 10-10. As for Milford, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Grant Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Paxton-Buckley-Loda on the 27th. As for Milford, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Peotone on the 27th.
