Baseball Recap: Central Hardin Finds Home Field Redemption Against Fort Knox

There's no place like home for Central Hardin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Fort Knox Eagles on Tuesday as they made off with an 11-1 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-7 on April 11th.

The team relied heavily on Chase Price, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Devin Hubbard also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Central Hardin pushed their record up to 12-13 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Fort Knox, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
