Sam Houston extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Xavier Youngblood. The Hurricanes put the hurt on the Fox Tech Buffaloes with a sharp 89-68 victory on Friday for which the team can thank Youngblood, who posted 26 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game.

Sam Houston's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Fox Tech, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.

Coincidentally, Sam Houston and Fox Tech will both be playing Lanier the next time they take the court. The Hurricanes will head out to face the Voks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Buffaloes will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
