Basketball Game Preview: Sullivan County Griffins vs. Canton Warriors

The Sullivan County Griffins and the Canton Warriors will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Sullivan County is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Towanda just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Black Knights.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Canton). They walked away with a 57-45 win over Millville on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Canton now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Sullivan County, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2.
