Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Joseph walked away with it. They came out on top against the Whitehorse Raiders by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Jayhawks, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Sophie Yates went supernova, getting 23 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 21 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Yates wasn't the only good servers: St. Joseph was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. The Jayhawks are 16-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

St. Joseph's victory bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Whitehorse, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.

St. Joseph has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Tintic on the 24th. As for Whitehorse, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Milford on the 24th.
