Volleyball Game Preview: Olathe Pirates vs. Roaring Fork Rams + How To Watch

Olathe hasn't had much luck against Roaring Fork recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Pirates will head out to square off against the Rams at 6:00 p.m. Olathe will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each match than the last.

Olathe took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Grand Valley 3-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Olathe was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Roaring Fork lost 3-0 to Basalt on Tuesday.

Roaring Fork was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-20.

Roaring Fork's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Olathe, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 5-12.

Olathe couldn't quite get it done against Roaring Fork in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
