Volleyball Game Preview: Ohio County Eagles vs. Allen County-Scottsville Patriots

The Ohio County Eagles will head out to challenge the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ohio County has three straight victories, Allen County-Scottsville has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Ohio County is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Kentucky's top teams: Trinity, who was ranked 17th at the time (Ohio County was ranked 14th). The Eagles blew past the Raiders 3-0 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Allen County-Scottsville came up short against Trinity last Monday and fell 3-1.

Allen County-Scottsville's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Ohio County, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.

Ohio County beat Allen County-Scottsville 2-0 in their previous meeting last Saturday. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
