Soccer Recap: Hueneme Finishes Even with Knight

Hueneme's tournament run continued when they took on Knight on Friday. Neither the Hueneme Vikings nor the Knight Hawks could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Hueneme's draw gives them a new season record of 1-6-2. Meanwhile, Knight's record is now 5-2-2.

Hueneme will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Rio Mesa at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Rio Mesa will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Hueneme surely won't give up without a fight. As for Knight, they will be taking part in a tournament against Glendale at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Knight's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
