Softball Recap: Corinth Falls Short of Lafayette in the Playoffs

Corinth and Lafayette squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Corinth had to settle for second. They lost 11-0 to the Commodores. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Corinth's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Lafayette, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Commodores beat Corinth by a score of 11-0 on Friday.
