Baseball Game Preview: Gallatin County Wildcats vs. Trimble County Raiders

For the second straight game, Gallatin County will face off against Trimble County. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Gallatin County is looking for their season's first victory.

Gallatin County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Trimble County on Tuesday. They came up short against the Raiders, falling 11-1.

For Trimble County's part, the team relied heavily on Liam Taylor, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. The Raiders are undefeated when Taylor posts three or more hits, but 1-11 otherwise. David Poe was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Trimble County's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-11. As for Gallatin County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.
