Softball Recap: Cinco Ranch Takes a Loss

Cinco Ranch lost against Jordan back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Cougars' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Kaedyn Maxwell and Makenzie McCowan did some serious damage despite the final result: Maxwell scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while McCowan went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Lindsey Deleon, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Cinco Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Jordan, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Cinco Ranch has already played their next matchup, a 4-3 victory against Paetow on the 4th. As for Jordan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-1 win against Seven Lakes on the 4th.
