Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Skyridge walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Westlake Thunder with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won seven contests in a row.

Kylie Buttars paced Skyridge's offense, picking up 17 kills. Buttars got some help from Lily Grant and her 36 assists.

Skyridge's win bumped their record up to 25-2. As for Westlake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-22 record this season.

Skyridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Herriman on the 29th. As for Westlake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Weber on the 29th.
