Basketball Game Preview: Lewisville Farmers vs. Little Elm Lobos

Lewisville is on a seven-game streak of home losses, Little Elm a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Lewisville Farmers will welcome the Little Elm Lobos at 5:45 p.m.

Lewisville is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Guyer on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Lewisville had to suffer through a 76-39 loss at the hands of Guyer. While losing is never fun, the Farmers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 389th, while the Wildcats are ranked third).

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Little Elm beat Marcus 55-50 on Friday.

Lewisville better keep an eye on Raniyah Hunt. She was instrumental in Little Elm's win, going 8 for 16 on her way to 18 points. What's more, Hunt also racked up two steals, the most she's had since back in November of 2024. Shiloh Kimpson was another key player, putting up 14 points and five rebounds.

Little Elm has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-22 record this season. As for Lewisville, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-19.
