Cesar Chavez won the last time they faced Camelback and things went their way on Thursday too. The Champions put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 21-9 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Champions.

Cesar Chavez got a massive performance out of Nayeli Delgado, who went 4-for-5 with four runs and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Delgado a new career-high. Mariah Flores was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Cesar Chavez was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .529. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Cesar Chavez's record now sits at 5-15. As for Camelback, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-17 record this season.

Cesar Chavez has already played their next matchup, a 15-0 loss against Tucson High Magnet School on the 25th. As for Camelback, they will square off against Apollo at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.47 runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
