Baseball Recap: Rock Island Takes a Loss

Rock Island was the 10-3 winner over Limestone when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rocks lost 13-5 to the Rockets on Tuesday. The Rocks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rock Island's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Limestone, their record now sits at 15-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rock Island will take on Alleman at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Limestone, they will square off against Metamora at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Redbirds will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight.
