Volleyball Recap: Case Falls Short of Bellingham in the Playoffs

Case and Bellingham squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Case had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Blackhawks. The Cardinals' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Case lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Madisyn Mendonca, who had 18 digs and one assist.

Case's defeat dropped their record down to 22-3. As for Bellingham, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

As of now, neither Case nor the Blackhawks have any future games scheduled.
