Softball Recap: Old Colony RVT Cougars vs. South Shore Vo-Tech Vikings

After losing to South Shore Vo-Tech the last time they met, Old Colony RVT decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cougars walked away with a 13-9 victory over the Vikings on Thursday.

Kayleigh DeSousa was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
