After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northside L, Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats were happy to have found some success on Friday. They breezed by KIPP Legacy on the road to the tune of 77-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats has posted since December 22, 2023.

Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Luke Owen, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Owen has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Vanden Garner was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds.

Despite the loss, KIPP Legacy still got an impressive performance from Nick Mapp, who scored 29 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mapp has scored all season.

Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats' victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for KIPP Legacy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Meadowdale at 3:00 p.m. on February 3rd. As for KIPP Legacy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Horizon Christian at 7:30 p.m. Horizon Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than KIPP Legacy in Indiana (Horizon Christian is ranked 180th, while KIPP Legacy is ranked 403rd).
