Softball Recap: Guilford Park Comes Up Short

Guilford Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Atholton Raiders, falling 20-6. That's two games in a row now that the Panther have lost by exactly 14 runs.

Guilford Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Atholton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-8-1.

Guilford Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Atholton, they are taking a road trip to face off against Marriotts Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Atholton will need to watch out since Marriotts Ridge has now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
