Volleyball Recap: Dalton Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Dalton hadn't done well against Kell recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Catamounts came out on top against the Longhorns by a score of 2-0. The Catamounts were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Longhorns, so the Catamounts were just returning the favor.

Dalton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Kell between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19.

Georgia Sanders paced Dalton's offense, picking up six kills. Sanders got some help from Anjalee Lemons and her eight assists. Karyme Smithey controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

When it comes to explaining why Kell lost, don't look at Rilee Wells. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and three aces.

Dalton pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Kell, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
