Baseball Game Preview: Dixie Heights Colonels vs. Ryle Raiders

Dixie Heights and Ryle are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Colonels will be playing at home against the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Dixie Heights took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They never let Simon Kenton get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Colonels in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won three in a row.

Not much got past Kyle Flynn, who gave up just five hits to keep Simon Kenton off the board. Flynn also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Dixie Heights is 4-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 1-8-1 otherwise.
