Soccer Recap: Maple Mountain Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lone Peak, Maple Mountain was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They beat the Mountain Ridge Sentinels by a goal, winning 2-1. Maple Mountain wouldn't have won without Piper Hoyt, who scored the game-winner.

The victory got Maple Mountain back to even at 1-1. As for Mountain Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maple Mountain will take on American Fork at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain Ridge, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge East at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
