Basketball Recap: Trinity at Meadow View Tempest vs. Immanuel Christian Warriors
Trinity at Meadow View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 51-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Immanuel Christian Warriors. The Tempest were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Despite the defeat, Trinity at Meadow View saw an underclassman step up: freshman David Cook posted 12 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Immanuel Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Player #1, who earned nine points along with six assists and six boards. Another player making a difference was Ben Sizelove, who went 5-for-10 en route to 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals.
Trinity at Meadow View's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
