Volleyball Recap: Lakeland Victorious

Lakeland lost to Bonneville back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Hawks came out on top against the Bees by a score of 3-1.

Despite the loss, Bonneville had strong showings from Allie Hall, who had 12 digs and two assists, and Cambria Western, who hit 66.7% for six kills and eight digs and three aces. Western is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 65 games she's played dating back to last season.

The victory got Lakeland back to even at 6-6. As for Bonneville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, Lakeland and Bonneville will both be playing Timberline the next time they take the court. The Hawks will head out to face the Wolves at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bees will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
