Baseball Game Preview: Jones Longhorns vs. Crossings Christian Knights

For the second straight game, Jones will face off against Crossings Christian. Jones will host Crossings Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jones' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Crossings Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Jones turned things around against Crossings Christian on Monday. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 6-3.

For Crossings Christian's part, Kade Wienstroer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Jake Robison made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Crossings Christian now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Jones, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.
