Basketball Recap: Tallavana Christian's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Tallavana Christian had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Wakulla Christian School Saints on Monday as the Tallavana Christian Lion made off with a 63-38 win. For the Lion, this counts as revenge for the 62-57 victory the Saints walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.

Tallavana Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jakael Ghant, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Frederick Glenn, who had 14 points.

Tallavana Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Wakulla Christian School, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Tallavana Christian will take on Altha in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wakulla Christian School, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tallavana Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
