McDaniel entered their tilt with Franklin on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Quakers 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mountain Lions have posted against the Quakers since May 4, 2018.

McDaniel pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
