Softball Recap: Chico Comes Up Short

Chico saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Scotts Valley Falcons by a score of 3-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Addi Hosier was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one stolen base.

Chico's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Scotts Valley, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Coming up, Chico will take on Monterey at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 3, the Dores 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Scotts Valley, they will be playing at home against Santa Cruz at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
