Wapahani hadn't done well against Frankton recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Everything went the Wapahani Raiders' way against the Frankton Eagles as the Wapahani Raiders made off with a 57-37 victory. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wapahani to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kimber Abshear, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 boards. Abshear is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Megan Luce was another key player, going 7 for 10 on her way to 20 points.

The win (which was Wapahani's sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Frankton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Wapahani will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cascade on December 28th. Wapahani's defense has only allowed 28.2 points per game this season, so Cascade's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Frankton, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Frankton Eagles face off against the Oak Hill Golden Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
