Middleton faced Timberline in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Vikings lost 5-1 to Wolves. Middleton haven't had much luck with Timberline recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Middleton's goal came courtesy of Hayden Jones, who's now up to three this season.

Middleton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Timberline, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1-1.
