New Philadelphia won the last time they faced Ashland and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Quakers came out on top against the Arrows by a score of 7-3.

The team relied heavily on Easton Miller, who went 1-for-5 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoey Devore, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

New Philadelphia has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Ashland, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

New Philadelphia will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Arrows: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
