Basketball Recap: Conway Christian Falls Despite Big Games from Miles Crawford and Dalton Droll

Conway Christian lost against Carolina Academy on January 14th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Conway Christian Eagles fell just short of the Carolina Academy Bobcats by a score of 53-51. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Conway Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Dalton Droll and Miles Crawford. Droll went 5 of 9 en route to 16 points and eight boards, while Crawford posted 17 points. That's the most points Droll has posted since back in January of 2024. Will Kunkle was another key player, putting up four points.

Conway Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Carolina Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conway Christian will face off against Lee Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Carolina Academy has already played their next contest (against Pee Dee Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
