 Rio Americano is 10-0 against Sacramento since April of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Monday. The Rio Americano Raiders will head out on the road to  square off against  the Sacramento Dragons at 4:30  p.m. Rio Americano is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7  runs per game  this season.
 Rio Americano is probably headed into the  game with a chip on their shoulder considering Del Campo just ended the team's  three-game winning streak  on Friday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of  6-4.
  Chet Heim was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  struck out six batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Mac Hausman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last five games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sam Marr, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Even though they lost, Rio Americano  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with ten  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Del Campo only tossed four.
 Meanwhile, Sacramento was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight  defeat. They lost  13-3 to Capital Christian.
 Sacramento saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Drewlian Jenkins Jr., who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI.  Jaylen Crump was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI.
 Rio Americano's record is now 17-8. As for Sacramento, their record is now 3-20.
 Everything went Rio Americano's way against Sacramento in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023 as Rio Americano made off with  a  22-0 victory. Will Rio Americano repeat their success,  or does  Sacramento have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
