Baseball Recap: River Forest Comes Up Short

River Forest lost to Wheeler two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ingots lost 17-2 to the Bearcats.

Devin Rosenfeld was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

River Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Wheeler, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Forest will face off against Westville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Ingots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blackhawks have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season. As for Wheeler, they will challenge Boone Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
