Basketball Recap: Riddle Comes Up Short

Riddle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 47-23 to the Elkton Elks. The Irish lost against the Elks in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 26-23 score last time.

Riddle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Elkton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-12.

Riddle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 74-27 loss against Glendale on the 9th. As for Elkton, they will square off against Days Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
