Recap: Oakbrook Prep Knights vs. Spartanburg Day Griffins
The Oakbrook Prep Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 41-40 to Spartanburg Day. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Oakbrook Prep in their matchups with Spartanburg Day: they've now lost three in a row.
Oakbrook Prep lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brad Caldwell, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chris Wilkins, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Oakbrook Prep's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Spartanburg Day, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8.
