Ruidoso and New Mexico Military Institute are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Ruidoso Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the New Mexico Military Institute Colts at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Ruidoso came up short against Tularosa and fell 56-44. The Warriors have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Mexico Military Institute). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Dexter 82-25. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Colts with their most commanding win of the season.

New Mexico Military Institute's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Ruidoso, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 13-10.

Ruidoso came up short against New Mexico Military Institute in their previous matchup last Tuesday, falling 55-46. Can Ruidoso avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
