Softball Recap: Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators vs. Broadwater Academy Vikings

Greenbrier Christian Academy never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Broadwater Academy Vikings as they made off with an 11-0 victory. The Gators haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Haleigh Murphy was a major factor no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. That home run was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Katelyn Balka was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Reagan Frank, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one triple.
