Sonoma Valley has gone a perfect 3-0 against Ukiah recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Dragons will head out to take on the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m.

Sonoma Valley saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to Vanden.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Ukiah, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against Rancho Cotate on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 25-23.

Ukiah's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 4-12. As for Sonoma Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Everything went Sonoma Valley's way against Ukiah in their previous matchup back in March, as Sonoma Valley made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
