Softball Recap: Woodstock Takes a Loss

Woodstock lost against Marengo back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blue Streaks came up short against the Indians, falling 11-1. The Blue Streaks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodstock's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Marengo, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Woodstock will square off against rival Richmond-Burton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Marengo is set to challenge their familiar foe Harvard at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
