Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Belen). Everything went their way against the Valencia Jaguars on Tuesday as they made off with a 22-11 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Belen and bumps their season record up to 14-7. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Valencia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Belen will face off against St. Pius X at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valencia, they will square off against Grants at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight.
