After losing to Petrolia the last time they met, City View decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pirates on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

City View had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-17, 25-15, 25-19.

City View's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Petrolia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.

Coming up, City View is taking a road trip to challenge Vernon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Petrolia, they will take on Saint Jo at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
