Soccer Recap: St. John XXIII Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when St. John XXIII faced off against St. Pius X on Tuesday. The St. John XXIII Lions lost 7-2 to the St. Pius X Panthers. The Lions have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

St. John XXIII's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for St. Pius X, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-1-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing St. Thomas Catholic the next time they take the pitch. St. Pius X will host St. Thomas Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while St. John XXIII will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th.
