Eastside is 9-1 against Westview since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Blazers will square off against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Eastside will be strutting in after a win while Westview will be coming in after a loss.

Eastside is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over Lakeland. The win continues a trend for the Blazers in their matchups with the Lakers: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Westview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 11-6 to East Noble.

Alexis Diehl made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Myra Miller, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Westview's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Eastside, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.

Eastside was able to grind out a solid win over Westview when the teams last played on Thursday, winning 12-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blazers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
