Football Recap: McComb Tigers vs. Lawrence County Cougars
It was a proper cat-fight when McComb challenged Lawrence County on Friday. The Tigers claimed a resounding 42-7 win over the Cougars. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.
McComb found their leader in sophomore Tramarion Davis, who threw for 239 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 40 yards. Broderick Peters also helped out with an impressive 94 receiving yards.

McComb was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 209 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
