It's playoff time, and Lake Brantley had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 victory over the Apopka Blue Darters on Thursday. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Blue Darters recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Kayla Morris, who fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 3-for-4. Auriana Turner was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Lake Brantley hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in four consecutive matchups.

Lake Brantley's victory bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Apopka, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 21-5 record.

As of now, neither Lake Brantley nor the Blue Darters have any future games scheduled.
