Volleyball Recap: Minford Falcons vs. South Webster Jeeps
Minford lost against South Webster on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jeeps.
The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 18-25, 25-14, 25-11.
Minford's offense was headlined by Kerigan Davis and Aleena Hale, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Savanna Barker and her 23 assists. Hale was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
South Webster found their leader in freshman Emma Campbell, who had 17 digs and two aces.
Minford's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-7. As for South Webster, their record is now 10-7.
Minford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against North Adams on the 27th.
