Basketball Recap: Franklin Heights Comes Up Short

Franklin Heights suffered their biggest loss since February 16, 2024 on Friday. They were outmatched by the Columbus Academy Vikings and fell 77-39. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Vikings are ranked 38th).

Franklin Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Columbus Academy, they pushed their record up to 22-0 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Franklin Heights will face off against Whetstone at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbus Academy, they will welcome Elgin at 1:00 p.m. on February 22nd.
