Football Recap: Leeds Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Leeds can now relate to. They lost 28-3 to the Briarwood Christian Lions on Friday. The game marked the Greenwave's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Sam Lollar threw for 191 yards on 22 of 35 attempts. Taylon Gaiter was his top target, picking up 74 receiving yards. On the ground, Jordan Lockhart rushed for 48 yards.

Briarwood Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Charles Dedmon led the charge by throwing for 197 yards and three TDs on only 18 passes, while also rushing for 47 yards. Those 47 rushing yards gave Dedmon a new career-high. Copeland Holley was Dedmon's top target, picking up 88 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

This is the second loss in a row for Leeds and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Briarwood Christian, they now also have a winning record of 6-5.

Leeds does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Briarwood Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 42-7 victory against Russellville on the 14th.
