After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calera, Montevallo was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Holt Ironmen a 5-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Montevallo, who have now won seven games by three goals or more so far this season.

Montevallo has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-2 record this season. As for Holt, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montevallo will host Tarrant at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holt, they will face off against Fultondale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
